Winning the Fake Euromillions
I thought I would write a little about the Euromillions 419 scams that have been going around for years, and it still surprises me when customers email in to our support desk crying that they just paid out $600 + USD in order to receive their prize.
In a nut shell the scammer emails thousands of random people telling them that they have won the lottery, in this case Euromillions. The sucker... believe this tripe even though he has not played. But the caveat of the scam is that they must pay the scammer upfront for some kind of fee to receive the funds (and advanced fee).
It comes in many different shapes and forms...
This is a very funny video which takes the piss out of one of these scammers...

All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax-free (except in Switzerland) and are paid as a lump sum.

Where to buy tickets for the Euromillions draw?
I often chuckle when I hear the question, Where should I buy tickets for the Euromillions draw... I chuckle because this is typically asked by people who do not live in a Euromillions jurisdiction and would love to get their hands on one of those "lucky tickets".
While it is not much dissimilar to winning one of Willy Wonka's chocolate bars and the winner will certainly enjoy a ride most befitting of a Johnny Depp tribute chocolate factory tour. However, there is a catch because some of those chocolates may not be what you think they are... and when you think you are buying a genuine Willy Wonka chocolate bar, made by the cunning hands of his trustworthy Umpa Lumpa's, may truth be told... it is likely that you are actually buying a a Willy Wonky chocolate bar, made in China... and the ride promised on the advertising, will be waivered by the small print.
You see many of the sites out there offering lottery tickets for sale are in many cases selling an insured item... and not the real deal. And this is why I have my preference when it comes to buying tickets online because I want the chance of winning the golden ticket and not some silver tinfoil thing...

Swiss Euromillions Results:
Swiss Euromillions results are easy to find... just hard to read the site, if you are English that is. I like the swiss, their banking is great and I am sure any winners from that part of the world will buy lots of yummy Swiss Cheese and spend their Swiss Francs with great gusto!

I dont really like the Luxembourg site, although the Euromillions Results are easy to find. I think they could learn from the Germans!

Well it looks like the day is over and the tickets have been bought and all that is left to do is wait for the winning numbers to come in and to collect my prize.
Life is that simple isn't it?
The question however is this, will the jackpot be won or will we be faced with another fantastic rollover?
Even if the Eurolotto is not won, in the background, Powerball is growing like a hungry beast looking to gobble up a pack of chocolates and donuts... Hmm speaking of chocolates?
I am off to the shop, see you later and enjoy the nail biting wait for your results!
